Regen Coordination

Regen Coordination is an alliance of networks that work on regeneration with web3 tools: Greenpill Network, ReFi DAO and Bloom Network, with a few partners around them. Each has its own local groups. The alliance exists so those groups share funding rounds, a forum and tools, and don’t each build them alone. A council with people from each network runs it.

It began in 2024 as a shared round in Gitcoin Grants 21, with a $50,000 matching pool. The 2025 round distributed $96,000 across fifty projects, and tried a new way to decide: half the score from the crowd, half from a review of each project’s reported impact. Gitcoin wrote up how that went.

My part

I sit on the council, as one of the people from ReFi DAO.

Did I run those rounds? No. Others on the council did. What I do is the infrastructure: the repository the organization runs on, the shared knowledge work, and the tooling for local groups. org-os lives under this organization for that reason.

At the end of 2025 I opened the council’s year-end reflection.
