Under construction

About

I’m Luiz Fernando. I was born in São Paulo and studied production engineering. For about five years I have worked with organizations that try to do finance, technology and governance in a way that gives back more than it takes. Most of them are small and most of them are networks.

How I got here

I started in DAOs, at PrimeDAO, working on how it connected with the regenerative finance world. I spent two seasons as a steward at Traditional Dream Factory, a regenerative village project in Portugal. In 2023 I started ReFi Barcelona with a small group, and from there I moved into the operations of ReFi DAO, the network it belongs to, and onto the council of Regen Coordination.

Somewhere along the way the same problem kept returning. These organizations had good people and little structure. Their knowledge was scattered across tools nobody had chosen. So I began building the structure, and in 2026 that became org-os.

What I do

I build the knowledge, data and digital systems an organization runs on. In practice:

What I’m not: a visual designer, or a grant writer. I can advise on how to enter a funding ecosystem. I don’t do the fundraising.

Working together

I take part-time and project work, around two days a week. The rest of my time goes to the networks above, and I intend to keep it that way, so I don’t take full-time or exclusive roles.

It starts with a conversation. If there is a fit, the first piece of work is small: I look at where your knowledge and systems stand, and I write up what I found and what I would do. Then I propose work, or I point you to someone better placed.

I work remotely. I’m in São Paulo until early 2027, so hours in the Americas are easy now. From spring 2027 I’m in Berlin, on Central European time. After that, both.

I work in English and Portuguese, in Spanish, and in Catalan in conversation.

This site

It is written in plain text files and built with Astro. It has no tracking and loads nothing from other servers.

It also describes itself to machines, at /.well-known/dao.json, the same way org-os does for any organization.
